We Made This: Pride Kickoff

May 29th, 4:00-5:30 PM

Join us in the park for a Pride Month kickoff that feels intentional, creative, and rooted in community.

We’ll have happy hour refreshments from Paradis in the Park and an open, collaborative art project that everyone can contribute to — something made by us, for us. Everyone is encouraged to "leave their mark" on a small paper square that will be assembled into a large, community-made pride flag that will live in the neighborhood after our event

Pride Stories in the Park

June 2nd, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The House of SpeakEasy Bookmobile bringing free LGBTQIA+ books and stories to the park, plus a DIY zine station from HiHK to craft your own "story"! Zines have a long, radical history in LGBTQIA+ activism as a way for our community to share stories outside of the mainstream. We’ll provide all the supplies—paper, pens, scissors, and prompts—to help you craft, fold, and decorate your very own mini-magazine.

Vinyl Nights Pride Ball

June 4th, 6:00-9:00 PM

Get ready to dance under the open sky! The Vinyl Nights Pride Ball is taking over Bella Abzug Park for a high-energy celebration of queer joy, New York nightlife, and the music that moves us. We’re going back to the roots of the groove with a Vinyl Dance Party. No digital playlists here—just the warm, authentic sound of records spinning all night long.
